What size Stay-Lok snaps are on a 14" x 130lb Stealth Tackle fluorocarbon leader? Is it a 5?

#5 is correct. I also sell them in bulk packs of 25. Sorry for the spam.

Ok, thanks. What's on the 80lb, size 4? How are the 4.5s?

80# uses #4. 100# uses #4.5. Everything from 130-200 uses #5

The 4.5s are nice they are slightly thinner than a #5 but only a tad bigger than a #4.

Does anyone know what the pound-tests are for each? The size 4 is still strong, correct?

I don't know if you're willing to tell me this, but I'll ask just in case. Don't feel obligated to answer, of course.

What fluorocarbon are you using? I thought that a few years ago you were using some type of Seagur, but I heard you are now using Hi-Seas.

A #4 snap is rated at 200# I believe.
Actually we use 3 brands of Fluorocarbon. Hi Seas, Seaguar and Yozuri (Pink). We use Hi Seas on anything 130# and lower because in my opinion it has a much higher abrasion resistance than other brands. It is a little stiffer and not as pliable which makes it harder to work with but you cant beat it for its abrasion resistance. We still use Seaguar on our 150-200# leaders. We offer Yozuri Pink tinted leaders in various sizes from 60-200#. There are alot of folks who are strong believers in what the pink tint does for them and I cant argue with their numbers.

Thanks for all of the info. Sorry for making you give away all of the components. I've been purchasing Stealth Tackles for a few years now and I absolutely love them. I'd like to play around with different lengths, snaps, leader material, et cetera. I have a few ideas for customizing them for different applications, but I expect I'll be restocked on the 25th, so I'll have to put that plan off for awhile.
