| With the clod weather upon us I am in need of a good pair of gloves I can fish in. Talking with SLMR, he recomended some gore-tex gloves which I think I found at Cabelas for around $30. Not sure if this is what he was talking about. Any and all sugestions would be appreciated. I don't want to lose feeling in my fingers again this year... |

| Are you going to be casting, trolling, sucker fishing? We sucker fish in November and I use either neoprene or these construction MITTENS. Lined with wool, these things are the best. I have a couple pairs of gortex gloves...one for skiing and the other for snowmobiling, but they don't keep your hands warm if you're not moving around. Sure, they stay dry, but they don't keep out the cold for 8 consecutive hours on the boat. Plus, mittens are so easy to put on and take off, especially if your hands are somewhat damp.
Of course, if your casting, mittens are pretty much a waste. |
