I use a 1lb for my video taping. Works very well to keep the camera and lure down. You can buy a real cheap down-rigger too from Cabelas. I think mine cost about $50 and just attached to your boat with those set screws.

I found them on cabelas website before but can't find them now. I looked for a while but no luck. If someone finds them, can you send me a link?

Check some of the Great Lakes websites. There are a few guys selling them. I found a guys a few years ago that was selling them close to me (Racine, WI), but can't find his info at the moment. I'll do some poking around to see if I can find any out there.
