| I haven't been out lately due to it being like 40+mph winds but this weekends should be okay? I haven't fished muskies this late in the year much any tips for plans of attack? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Here, you would need an ice breaker after the next couple nights, and season will be closed. |

| Both the season and the water are still open down here in southern Wisconsin. Fishing has been great too. |

Location: SE Wisconsin | Goeff, the lake I live on was skimmed almost completely over today, but the Upper portion (I live on Lower, but see Upper from my windows) was pretty much open except around the shoreline, which is usually the case on the Phantoms. I know Abe's been on a few fish and will probably be breaking ice in the next couple days. I imagine the bay you're in was skimmed yesterday and this morning, no?
I spend the majority of my time this time of year getting wind burned or frost bitten in a tree stand, but the few times I get out for ski's this late in the year, the first thing i usually pull out is a Suick or big 8-10" jerk bait like a Slammer, Grandma or Crane. . . I also love to go deeper and rip Dawgs just like I've been doing all spring and summer. |
