| hello, I've been thinking of some ways to make a spray booth to make breathing a bit healthier while airbrushing my lures. (I use createx auto air paint) I see alot of great ideas from you guys on this forum so I thought I'd ask for help. Any ideas or pics would be greatly appreicated.
thank you ,

| Good morning wisconsin!!!! I love the smell of createx in the morning!
Createx is water based but I guess I've never really looked at the MSDS on the paint. Do you think a vent fan like for a microwave or something would be enough to get rid of the paint smell? |

| if you have room. a furnace blower squirrel cage with an out let outside.. some use bathroom blowerfans into a box with a furnace filter for waterbased paints. |

Location: Freedom, WI | I use the bathroom blower fan and furnace filter. I cut a furnace filter in chunks the size I need, turn on the fan and let it suck it tight. after doing a bunch of painting I blow the dried paint off the filter to make it last longer. The filter will not catch it all and after enough painting(actually is a lot of painting) you have to wipe off the inside of the housing and blades of the dried paint build up (it comes right off). |
