Thinking about getting a few 6 inchers, have you guys had good luck with them?
If so, whats you favorite way to work the bait?
thanks

The 13"ers have the best action IMO. I also own an 11"er but it needs to be turned to work right. Why are you looking to get a small one in the fall?

I have one of each size, the 13" is my favorite. A straight retrieve with some pauses mixed in works good.

How slow can you work the 9 and 11" models?
The 6" is super stiff, you probably have to reel very fast tp get any action out of it...

There's a lot of variance in the 11" too. Some are very soft and look unreal at low speed, others are much stiffer rubber and just don't swim as lively. The best one I have has the belly harness outside the body (lays flat along the belly instead of buried inside the rubber body). Haven't caught anything on them yet, but one of those lures that it's just a matter of time. They look amazing slowly reeled back, the most natural rubber lure I've ever seen personally. If you like to slow roll spinnerbaits or bucktails in cold water you should check out the Suzies as an option. With the soft rubber ones, the paddle tail thumps away and the whole body kind of wobbles and squirms, they look wicked. A buddy of mine just got an 11" the other day with the internal harness and stiffer rubber and it looks a lot different in the water than a soft one with the external harness. Still pretty decent, though. You can roll these baits very slow, it doesn't take much to get the paddle tail working, probably because they have it rigged facing upwards (faces the opposite to the way you would rig a sassy shad on a jig for walleye etc) Smart design for low speed.

Where can I find a 9" model that's soft and has the external hooking system?

I got one of the 11" with the internal harness recently and my first impression was that it needed to be worked fairly quickly to get any action. I think it could be dynamite worked high and fast during the summer but didn't give it too much time right now.
