just a reminder that ice-fishing is right around the corner and there is a icefishingfirst.com page that i hope continues to gain traction. it's only as good as everyone contributing ... there are a few really talented people in there to learn from, so make sure to stop in over the winter months.

I didn't even know it existed. Thanks for the heads up.

It's a great site; it just needs more traffic (that would be our responsibility I guess). The quality of the information exchanged is top notch. I know for a fact that I get more fish to the ice after having participated for a couple of years.

I used to ice fish a lot, but the kids got older and then came basketball and winter soccer. I've been out twice in the past three years. Maybe this winter.

I have one of those underwater cameras and they are handy. They show you all the fish that won't bite.

I spend far more time on the Ice than on open water. We have a great time, and catch a few fish in the process. And with Sled, Sorno, Viking, TeamRooster, dave s, and the rest of the crew, it's pretty entertaining. Sorno has some gooooood ice fishing out there; those little salmon make me hungry just thinking about them.

I've been asking sled for about 12 years now if we could hook up for some ice, but he's always in China or Tibet or something.
