Posts: 1516 | I have done most of my muslie fishing in Minnesota. We are thinking of coming to Wisconsin. Can anyone suggest a family style resort on a decent muskie lake?

Posts: 1040 | If you wanted to be a little closer, you could have a fun family vacation at the Country Springs Waterpark in Waukesha/Pewaukee. You would be within 2-3 minutes of the launch for Pewaukee. Not water front, but it might be a nice family vacation. Outside of that, I'd look at the Chippewa Flowage. Great water and tons of resorts. Edited by vegas492 1/5/2012 8:44 AM

Posts: 144 Location: Loves Park, IL | I'll second Eagle Waters Resort on the Eagle River Chain. It's a great place with many different options for lodging from fancy condos to the older style cabins. I'll be there the second week of July with a family group of about 14. We love it. Jeff

Posts: 97 Location: Milwaukee, WI | +1 to Treelands. Had my wedding up there last summer - had about 100 guests from newborns to great-grandparents. Everyone had a great time. They will treat you very well.

| I will put my two cents in for LCO in Sawyer Cty. Maybe not a numbers lake, but it does have some big ones. It also has a great small mouth and walleye fishery. Only a couple of resorts on the lake. I would recommend Anglers Haven. Great hosts and food, excellent cabins. This will be our 30th year. | |||
