Must say thanks for the fast service from Tackle Ind! We just got back from our annual Canada trip. We called up to Thorne Bros before we left two weeks ago to make sure they had the TI rods we wanted as we always stop by on the way through. Well, we found out a few days before we left that TB does not carry the Tackle Ind rods... On VERY short notice I contacted James at 9:30pm on a Tuesday night and he got 3 rods out to us the next morning at 7am sharp! The rods got to us just in time to leave for our trip. A+ to James and I can only say TB needs to get these rods in stock. They missed at least 3 rod sales a few weeks ago! Not many tackle companies you can contact at 9:30 at night and get things ordered. Excellent customer service and speedy delivery. Thanks James!

Something 8-9' Telescopic/Two Piece and max lure casting weight 8-10 oz would be awesome, alot of people are looking for more options (there are 2 rods on the market) of rods that are 2 piece that will cast a magnum bulldawg. They would sell great in Europe, om sure.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Yes, my first true two piece rod will be 9' but both pieces will be 4.5' long so the max tube length you will need is of course just over 4.5' long or about a 55" tube. This allows you to stay under the airline limits for extra $$$ baggage as well as shipping global with most major carriers. The rod I am working on right now would be the XH (3-12oz lures). If that works out I will expand immediately into the MH and XXH rods. Still worried on the XXH design. 36oz is a lot to put on a joint like this so that one may require a little extra designing to overcome that issue. I think the MH and XH designs will work out very well. Still need to test these rods for durability. Also will be testing them in 0C and below freezers for durability for cold weather use. My current rods did very well in cold situations so I anticipate these will to. Thanks!! James

The pics and the specs look like the ones I picked up over the winter. Awesome rods, definitely going to have to consider purchasing another one while on sale.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Guest-Yes but the removable handle rods are no longer on my website. So, the special is the telescopic and single piece 9' rods in all powers and full and split grip handle types. pikeaddict-Still working on that. All I need is one shop to take 40+ rods and the shipping is very low on a per rod basis. That is the main issue for my current rods and getting them over to Europe. Or I just need a distributor in Europe...

There are probably alot of stores here in Sweden who would stock your rods, check with Attitude Baits!

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | MuskieSwede, Thanks for the tip. I will try them. Should have a few retailers in Europe soon....I hope. I have a lot of requests for my rods. I do have guys who visit the USA on trips and then buy a rod and they have me ship to their hotel so they can take it home. Not many but a few buy this way. Coming to the USA soon ![]()

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Thanks Ronix. Hope the rod is doing well for you. I have a few 9' 2-piece rods in testing right now. Both pieces are 4.5' in length so they will travel very well and I will also be able to ship them all over Canada and Europe for my normal shipping rates. Just need the AOK from my testers and you will see them early Spring!!! MH and XH planned for production right now but I may add the XXH if I get a lot of interest in them. If anyone wants the XXH let me know now so I can plan to have some made. James
