I have spent quite a few hours on this site. Very informative. I am a multi-species angler, but I have become very interested in the Muskie and Walleye. I had a Ranger bass boat sold it and just last week bought a 1987 Tuffy Muskie Rampage. The boat is a one owner, 75 Mariner and a KDEE trailer. I only paid $1800 for it so I think I got a good deal. I will buff the paint this winter, reroute the fuel line, install a real fuel tank in the back, rewire the batteries (need new ones) and go fishing. The boat has always been garage kept and is in great shape. The only problem was a soft spot on the casting deck and does not have a trolling motor. I hope to get the interior redone in the winter of 2012. I have a baby on the way so it gives me time to save some money.I have seen on the site guys who have done it themselves. There work was amazing.I have never done it, but I think I'm up to the challenge.Just thought I would say hi.

Thank you very much. The pleasure was mine. I really can not wait to get my boat up to the Chip. This is a great site.

indeed this is a fun site, especially during work or school! if the soft spot is on the back half of your deck have just encase make half of your casting deck a tackle box should fix the problem, but may hurt the wallet a bit..

The soft spot is up front. I'll fish 2012 with it then I will find someone to redo the interior or I'll learn to do it myself.I love this boat. I figure my wallet is going to hurt one way or another.

Howdy and Very Best Wishes on the new baby on the way!

You know, the event of having a baby is a perfect time to buy a new rod/reel. Perfect. While you wife is in labor, she'll be walking the hospital halls for HOURS. This is very painful to the dad but here's a way to make things better....

After the first hour or so tell her your going to get a cup of coffee but that's a lie. Instead, drive to Gander Mountain and buy a sweet new rod and reel combo.

You'll be back in plenty of time.

I like your attitude and as far as the site, just wait until Winternet when it really gets nutty.

I figured as soon as the lakes froze over I figured the site would lite up. I don't have a musky rod and reel yet, I will try your idea, plus the baby is do Dec. 20th. I could always use the Christmas deal.
