Decided to try and make a rattle trap style bait w/o the rattles. Made of cedar and is 6" long. Tested it before I painted it and I don't believe there was enough weight for it to start right. It wanted to run to whichever side the leader was sitting on from the start. Added some more weight and made it a little "nose heavy". Hopefully that did the trick - will find out today.

Very nice creation. You get the weight problem fixed and you should have a very nice lure.
