| I had to clip the back treble - any idea on the process of replacing, I have shrink tubing and hooks. It just looks like its impossible to get it back to original form.
Thanks |

Location: Yahara River Chain | I actually remove the small 5/0 and replace with 7/0 on every TR I buy.
Place shrink tubing on shank of the hook. Run down as far and cut so that just a bit of the eye is shown. Place hook on TR making sure that the two hooks are down and one up (this is very important). Snake the tubing up the hook over the split ring and over the eye of the bait. Make sure you don't go too far as that will allow the tubing to rub on the body and if that happens, it won't work well. Making sure you have the right size tubing if its too small, you will have the darnest time. Should be able to snake it up will a little effort. Heat the tubing and allow to cool while the tail hook is pointing at the floor. |

| slide the heat shrink tubing down the shaft of the new treble hook, attach the new hook to the split ring, slide the shrink tubing up and over the split ring but not too far to hinder the prop from spinning, then use a lighter to shrink it. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | helps to stick your needle nose pliers into the shrink tubing and open the pliers with some gentle pressure and stretch the tubing out a bit before you put on the hook to begin the assembly. Slides up easier. I also use a double wall x3 tubing. Make sure your hook is on correctly though as mentioned above. |
