This is a stupid topic, but I have a small head and it is a pain buying hats. Does anyone know of any for those with my condition. It's about a 7 in fitted hats, and I don't wear one four sizes too big.

I'm thinking about getting one of the Musky Innovations hats with the mesh back. Any thoughts? The hat I normally wear is that style and I don't want one that's too big.

Have the same problem. I'm a 7 1/4 and the Innovations hat sat a little too high on my head. You can always get it and beat it in. Wash it a couple times and mold it to your head.

Yeah, I know what you mean. They all fit that way. The one I have now is that style, and I would prefer to have one with a mesh back, but every hat on the market seems to have a high crown. I've tried putting them through the dryer, never the wash, but I don't think it did much good.

I have the same problem, as well. My tiny melon is between a 7 - 7/14 hat size. Take a look at the New Era 39Thirty series. They're a low profile cap for guys like us. They don't have a very tall fitting to them and they formly fit to your head.

I don't ever buy a cap sight unseen without trying it on in front of a mirror. But I do like the fit of the New Era 39Thirtys.

Try wrapping Duct tape around your head to build up the circumference. Works on my kids

Isnt this more like february fodder? if at all. Sounds like you need a slump buster. Go out and catch a muskie, any muskie. youll fill that hat right away. That seems to do it for many folks. Actually too many. But at least their hats fit better. Hey I think most of their hats even get a little tight.

This is muskie fishing, most everyone has a huge head here so all the hats are made to fit.

You're doing it wrong. If you go over the top of the head and under the chin a few times, you won't lose your hat when you're going WOT.

Can you still buy those? I couldn't find them anywhere.

Anyone know about a S/M flexfit hat? Do they have a high crown? Looking at the Lee Lures one specifically.

The S/M size  I believe is a 6 7/8 - 7 1/4 size.  But that isn't going to dictate how tall the crown of the cap is going to be.  I'd try it on before ordering it sight unseen.  It fit your head well.... but if the crown is ridiculously tall, it just looks stupid, IMO.

It's sorta the crap shoot when you buy a cap online....

Will the 39thirty hats have a smaller crown?

Yes.  The 39Thirty caps have a significantly lower/smaller crown than their 59Fifty line-up.  I've got several 39Thirty caps that fit perfectly.

I'll look into those 39Thirties. I saw some camo ones with the mesh back. Unfortunately all they had were baseball teams in that style. I wish some of the tackle companies would use this model.

Anyone know about the fishouflage hat? On sale for under $10 with promo.
