Location: Madtown, WI | Anybody out there using this stuff? Am looking for an alternative to fluoro that won't kink on a dawg ball. I've caught a few on them and no failure yet, am using nail knots and 120# test. Just wondering if anybody has any complaints or comments about the material. This stuff has been around for quite a while and have never heard of anybody using it, gotta be a reason. |

| I used to use it for my bite tippet on fly, but have since gone to FC for that. Never had any trouble with it and caught several fish on it. It's not as knotable as other materials, but it never failed or came apart on me. |

Location: Marshfield, WI | I bought some this winter and had my friend tie them up. They have held up great so far. I am still on my first leader of the season(for each rod).

Location: Yahara River Chain | Steve try the heaviest leader Leaders and Lures makes. It is 19 stainless steel and they bend but won't kink enough to fail. I've used two leaders (one on each of my two rods) all season and they are still going strong. When I caught a fish while with Jeff Hanson he asked me if my leader was titanium as it was bent but not ruined. You can get them at Dorns (@ Midvale & Northgate), D&S Bait and Smokey's or on line at www.leadersandlures.com these are top notch leaders. |
