Posts: 317 | The 2011 YCA (Youth Conservation Alliance) Moose Lake Muskie outing is in the books as a smashing success. Over 20 kids competed and over 50 Muskie were landed in 2 days of fishing. Many kids caught multiples, and one 11 year old got 9! I was a volunteer guide and my boat scored 4: 2 30's, 34.5", and the big fish of the event, a fat 42". Fish hit on a variety of baits as well as Suckers. Thanks to the YCA (http://www.yca.org) Muskies Inc., and The Mystic Moose Resort for putting on this great event. 10 Yr. Old Tyler Bushnick with the winning 42" fish taken on a sucker. My 9 Yr.
