Location: nappanee IN | hey guys, with all the "long rod" talk going on nowdays do you still use a 7-6 for cranking? or would a pm80mh work better or should i go with the 8ft heavy? don't want an overseas rod, just want your input on an american rod..thanks |

Location: Smith Creek | PM80MHF would be best for MOST crankbaits, Depthraiders, big games, Cranes, small to medium sized Jakes and Grandmas. PM80HF for your bigger Jakes, grandmas, Kriscos and believers. If you're trolling I would suggest the fiberglass PGM80HM. For a little more the Legend Tourney TMU79HMF would fish all those cranks very well. |

Location: nappanee IN | what i have now is a 6-9xhvy and a 7-2 mh and then a 8-6xhvy for the big stuff. the 7-2 would prolly be too light for those cranks? has the same rating as the 7-6 had but prolly wouldn't work?.. thanks again..karol |

Location: Smith Creek | 72 MH would be fine for most crankbaits. 80MHF would cast farther, figure 8 better, hookset better. Same action as the 72. |
