| ok now that i've got your attention, I'm thinking of treating myself to a birthday present. I'm looking at buying a trolling reel. What would be a good one. Around $150 bucks. Thanks guys.

| For 150 you can almost get 3 okuma 20dx's. I love them
The ultimate line counter would be the shimano bantam line counter. They put a bait clicker on the normal bantam but in their infinite wisdom took that feature off the line counter model making the reel rather useless.[:knockout:] |
