Location: Storm Lake, IA | anyone make a heavy double ten (bucktail or spinnerbait) that could be used for burning or trolling that will stay a little deeper than your average double ten? Looking at either buying some or possibly do a little building. Not sure on where to start on either. Pictures or links would be great. Thank you for the help. |

| Hey Kyle, how heavy do you want them? You just need some wire and egg sinkers - cut the wire on the ones you have and re-weight. PM me some specifics and Ill see what I can do for you. |

| Tip: Glue 2 blades together. Thicker blades have less lift. I've got a DB10 with thicker blades than a Muskie mayhem and it runs much deeper
Use solid beads only and add lots of weight |

Location: NorthCentral WI | Spanky's baits have heavier shafts and blades which will make them run deeper.
I don't know about glueing blades together.
Tip: Get a roll of solder from the hardware store and keep it in your boat - I typically use a 6" piece or so and wrap it tight around the shank of the hook. Works great and you can always take it off. |

Location: Okoboji | i bought a blue fox double 10 flashabou skirted bucktail from gander on clearance last week...12 bucks!?!? couldnt pass that deal up. It has the bell and .40 blades,,,thing is a tank. |

| the blue fox double #10's do ride deeper then any of the other brands i have.
instead of cutting your wire to add egg or bell sinkers use rubber core sinkers. just take the rubber out slide it over the wire and with pliers close the gap. much easier and you can always take them back off to add different size sinkers.
almost forgot the weighted stealth leaders will help also.

| The Handlebarz that I make are heavier then the cow girls and built with all solid beads heavy stainless wire and heavier egg sinkers then most. I can do custom ones with 2oz or 3oz egg sinkers in them for the extra weight have a look at my site and see if there is anything you might be interested in if so we can talk shoot me a PM cheers Mike

| Spanky makes a great heavy bucktail for casting or trolling, his standard double 10 is alot heavier than others and you can ask him to use the heavier beads when he makes it and it will run even deeper. Put a lot of fish over 50" in the boat trolling Spankys on St.Clair this summer.
You can run them with the Weighted leaders from Stealth also. Spanky also makes a trolling keel for extra weight that you can get off his website. spankybaits.com
