| Looking for suggestions on a guide for these lakes, I have a trip Aug 9-13th and havent fished here yet.
these seem fairly smaller lakes, would it be worth getting a guide, or just fish the lake as I would any other familar lake (coves, rock, beds, etc..) |

Location: Smith Creek | They're pretty easy to fish, I think about the 2nd day I fished it caught multiple fish in weeds and I'm a mediocre at best fisherman. A couple of good guides around there could shorten the learning curve for you: Fuzzy or Bruce Shumway and Dave Dorazio to name a few. |

| A couple of my buddies fished with Terry Peterson on Teal and had a lot of good things to say about him. I fished with Tanner on the Chip last year and he put us on a big fish spot that produced later in the week so I would not hestitate to use him on any water he is familiar with.
I fished it with a guide on Teal, but the summer pattern seemed to be drive around to the mid-lake weed humps.......all of which can be located pretty easily with a simple map like this.... http://www.teallake.com/fishing-boating/fishing-information/fishing...
Good luck, catch a big one.

| +1 on Tanner but he's usually really busy. That said the lakes are, as you suggest, pretty straight forward. I might suggest talking to Ken at Dow's Corner on 77 and A. Buy a pizza and a few beers and he can really help you out |

| Go with Kieper, but not on LLL and Teal. Let him choose the lake. |

Location: Oswego, IL | I posted this topic, had email issues. Thanks everyone thing is were staying on these two lakes for 3 entire days of fishing so I did want to stick to them and not travel, maybe if there is a much better lake close I would think about it.
