Subject: Cooling Water




As the water temperature starts dropping from week to week as highs and lows both lower, does that change patterns of the fish from their normal august haunts? Specifically talking Canadian Shield waters. I never usually get to fish much in September, just trying to plan out my attack.

I use the 73, 63, 53 logic.

73 and above is summer haunts.

63, same areas but a lot more suspension off the same structure. Sticking more to contoured break line (but weed cover is still active).

53 and below is open water and primarily rock structure.
