What did everyone get from the Milwaukee show? Where there any new standout baits? Sounds like it was extra full, didn't get to go this year, but I'm not sure how they could fit more vendors in there. Might have to think about another building next year

This was my first muskie show and I was thoroughly impressed. The seminars were top notch and informational. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing share a few stories and BS, even if their booths were extremely busy. I am not trying to advertise or anything, but I feel the need to thank a few people I talked to for making the show just an awesome experience.

A big thanks out to Bob at JustEncase!!! My cousin and I purchased two boxes from him. They are just the best quality boxes you can buy IMO. They look good empty, but they look even better with baits in them.

Another big thanks goes out to Badwater Baits, Mark, Rob and Benji!! Three great guys to talk baits and muskie fishing about! Needless to say my cousin and I will be in touch with them again to buy more baits. The baits are just fantastic, the blending of different colors of flashabou in the flashabou skirts are awesome. Best of all the price of the baits are very reasonable.

And last but not least Musky Innovations, who couldn't stop at their booth and buy a couple bull dawgs or a few more than a couple in our case.

I couldn't say it any better Andy! Like you said, everyone we talked was more than helpful and really we couldn't ask for any more.

Again, top notch stuff from Badwater Baits, Just Encase, and Musky Innovations. Feel like we gained a few new baits, and some relationships that will last for some time to come.

Thanks again to everyone that makes this show happen!

I made purchases that I could only find at the show. I finally pulled the trigger on ordering a pounder rod through Franks Custom Rods. It will be on a Calstar 9' heavy blank. Along with some show color custom pounders,a couple twitch baits from Tyler's Basement Creations,a Badwater glide bait and a Musky Train crank bait. And way to many baits purchased at the swap, lots of great deals there. Most of all I'm looking forward to using the rod I ordered from Frank

That is a two person haul, which only makes it half as bad. :p

AJ, let me give you a useful tip. The real deals happen at the swap meets! Go. I don't even go to the expo unless i need a trolling motor/graph/rod aka something BIG.

I got quite a few great new Slammers to throw. Bill really helped me out. Great guy! Picked up a new larger Phantom Softail as a present for my old man. Put in an order for a few new Llungen bucktails and bought another one off of the shelf. Picked up two MuskyTrain Diesels from Jeff. Again, he really helped me out as well. Went rod shopping and saw some really nice custom rods along with the St. Croix line. Tough decision coming on what to buy.

All in all, a great show.

picked up 2 Medussa's after I saw in hawg tank
2- mag dawgs
2- Custom Cowgirls
I saw jeff hanson throw the muskytrain baits in the hawg tank also and went to booth and picked up 2- diesels and a mf shad. was nice to see how they were worked. they gave me a depthchart for their baits also.
Picked up a uv squirko also.
was a fun show.

Wish they had that tank at Chicago and other musky shows. Its hard to see baits in the pool. much easier to see demonstrated in tank.
bad part is I end up spending more money...

Shopping cart? One shopping cart wouldn't cut it. You'd need to hire a Sherpa and a pack of mules to carry that much gear around.

He's the only one to really post because there was nothing left for anyone else to buy.

not trying to cause a stir again this year......but please remember without the EXPO, there would be no swap meets.

My first time to the Milwaukee show too, didnt go as crazy as Aj of course I only brought some cash and left everything else at home or I might have.
Was basically just looking at new stuff and show colors anyway. Has anybody else ever thrown that tailflapper thing by Ty? I'm a huge fan of the pacemaker after last season so thought I would give one a whirl.
Prety cool walking around the show as a first timer though and seeing all the big name guys just hanging out with everybody. Oh and those burgers with the pretzel dough buns are worth the trip alone!

The one on the left is called pumpkinseed. The pumpkin is a MX6. Middle MX7.5.
