Ever since I owned my boat (4yrs.) I have wondered if my hydraulic steering was installed correctly. (Since I never previously owned/driven another boat w hydraulic steering, I have nothing to compare it to.) I did ask a mechanic to check it out (visually...not on the water), and he said everything looks fine.
Here's the problem...at idle speed it turns very easily to the left and right, but, at any speed greater than idle, it turns to the right very easily (same as at idle) but it takes a lot more effort to turn to the left.
Just curious if anyone has experienced this before and would like to hear if anyone has any insight on the issue. Thanks in advance for your comments.

May need to be bled and check your fluid level, too.
