I am about to plug in my third v1 powerdrive foot pedal this week! Even took them apart and fixed one of them for a short while. I will leave my opinion to the inside workings of the pedal to myself. I tried some searching with my "smart" phone but came up empty. Is there a conversion plug to fit a v2 pedal to a v1 motor factory or aftermarket?

I don't think so. The V1 is an analog system, while V2 is digital. To the best of my knowledge, they are not compatible.

This wont answer your pedal question, but get a copilot if you dont. I never use my pedal anymore. I can operate the motor anywhere in the boat. Nice. I have the pedal with for some reason the copilot quits working, but I had more dang problems with these pedals over the years and 2 years on the copilot (that ive owned it, bought used) and its been flawless.
