| Hey guys,
I'm relatively new to musky fishing and I'm thinking of buying me a tallywhacker (I think that's right). Is it a good lure, and what are the best times of year to use it. thanks alot guys.
also spongebob if you read this, can you tell me where your from? I don't need any specifics, just whether your around or in West Virginia. Just curious. thanks.

| Tallywackers have put good numbers of fish in my net over the years. There are LOTS of 'imitations' of the Mud Puppy, all seem to be OK. The Top Raider, Ty Sennet's Pacemaker, and the Musky Buster were the hot baits of this type at the shows this year.[] |

| Very good bait for me and is outperforming the Bucher topraider by a wide margin.
Very consistent out of the package. Do get torn up by fish over time though. Of course on the other hand I wish ALL my baits would get torn up by fish. |

| In a Galaxy far far away....I live in Va, about 5 hrs. from Cave Run, outside of Roanoke...home state, Louisiana. Mauser is near Beckley...what part are you from? We hit Cave Run on occasion, maybe you can go w/ us sometime...let us know![:sun:] |

| First topwater bait that I tie on. Have about 4 and love them all. I raise fish on them but, as is my luck , can't seem to hang on to them. They seem to work good in the creeks and rivers , better then in the lakes, at least for me. By the way, I live about 12 miles from Lake Stephens. near Beckley. Give me a holler and we'll try to get together for a trip or two before winter sets in. Have van will travel, just let me know.

| hey spongebob,
I'm a college student here at Marshall University, here in Huntington, WV. I've only been fishing for muskie about a year or so, and really love it. I caught my first a few months ago, and I can't seem to get away from it. I was actually saving up money to go down to cave run in early spring. later.

| Save that cash Jr...there is a Muskie First Outing in in the spring; cheap rates + a blast! Wish you guys had thumped the CHOKIES, this place is full of them running around..... |

| spongebob,
Marshall has never played that bad...ever!!! If we would have been playing even average, they would've had to take that game into overtime. About the Muskie first outing, does it cost a lot of money, and is it like a tournament or just a good old fishing time. also, would I be able to team up with someone with a boat or would I have to bring my boat from home.
thanks

|
| For sure...a few dropped passes, 2 for touchdowns would have made a difference. I would imagine you could hitch up w/ a boat already there, + it is a "for fun" get together. Ask for cash for Christmas! |
