Location: Wausau/Phillips WI | I recently bought a new globe style lure that keeps going to the left during the retrieve. Any ideas to make it go straight would be appreciated.

Location: Yahara River Chain | The only way you can run a globe style bait straight is by adding a counter rotating blade to it to offset the torque from the single blade. |

Location: Wausau/Phillips WI | I've got about 15 different globes and they all go almost straight. The new one veers off to the left about 10 feet during the retrieve. Why were the old Pflueger globes so touted if the blades were tight and didn't rattle at all? |

| When I used to cast and troll the Pflueger Globes, the first thing I would do is loosen the two screws holding the prop against the head. This produced a nice "rattle".

| It is all about the blade! Look at it,is one side twited more than the other? If so bend it like the other side.Is one side up or down more, once again, bend, bend and rebend!!! Globes are my FAV topwater!!! As far as the ones with tight screws, they gurgle and kick op water if tuned correctly,Surf Rollers were the same way...Don't look at the lure when you bring it in,listen and when it stops making noise,SET the hook!!!!!!!! |
