Everybody has their own top 5 casting lures based on personal experience and confidence. It sounds like you are off to a good start though. Bucktails and tail rotating topwaters are consistant producers, and the ones you list are good. I would suggest a bulldawg style bait as well. With these and what you have you will have most bases covered.

In addition to yours--already listed--I like:
1. Wiley 6.5" and 5.5";
2. Grandma 7.5" (shallow) and 9" (deep);
3. Jake 6";
4. Bucher Depthraider 6" and 8";
5. Believer 6", 7", and 8".
All common.

How about a DC10 Cowgirl, or Llungen DC9? Those tails catch more fish than anything else. And yes, gotta have a dawg of some kind.

All except the cowgirl and the dc9 should be fine on that setup.

I personally throw cowgirl style baits on an 8'6" BlackRiver Hawgchaser paired with an abu garcia 7000I cs prorocket. I have it spooled with 100lb cortland spectron braid. This setup has worked outstanding for me. With that being said, there are several rods and reels that will do just as well as my setup. This just happens to be what I use.

Longer is not really needed, but longer is much easier. You said your fenwick is a mh, I would suggest a heavy action at a minimum. As far as gear ratio, there are a few other threads on here about that. They can give you way more info than I can (some of those guys really know their stuff).

Buy some Red October Tubes. You can fish them everywhere and in any part of the water column. Not too mention they work!!!! Mix up some of their jigs and pick up some Monster Tubes, Big Sexy and Twisted Tubes and your good to go. I've fished them in 1-3ft of massive weedbeds, 8-12ft breaklines and even 20-40ft jigging. Really one of the most versatile baits on the market today..
