i have a humminbird 1157 and a 997 that i'm going to mount on my counsel. was wondering if i can run both units off of the 997 si transducer. can i just get a "y" chord for the transducer chord or do i have to just run both ducers and just set them at differnt frequencies.

I beleive the new 2011 Humminbird units have a new HDMI high speed cable that will run unit to unit that will share transducer signal, waypoints and now even mapping. I just read about it on the hummingbird site, but I really do not know all the details.
