| In the DNR's management plan for Muskie/pike they say there are currently 21 lakes managed for tigers. Future plans include dropping management on 7 lakes. Stocking efforts in the dropped lakes would be dispersed to the remaining 14; 7 of these lakes will now have more intensive stocking every 3 years, 7 lakes will be stocked every 2 years.
Does anybody know which lakes are being dropped, and which will be stocked more often? |

| I found the DNR's east metro fisheries page and they have stocking info. The seven east metro lakes: crystal, orchard, gervais, Johanna, phalen, Elmo, clear. I think the cuts are island and silver (ok by me). All 7 of these lakes are to be stocked every other year, and I think most are gonna get more fish/acre than years past.
Couldn't find the west metro info. I would assume then that more lakes are being cut on that side of town (5 according to the plan)... |

| I heard Nokomis and Calhoun/Isles/Cedar have been dropped as tiger lakes but Calhoun/Isles/Cedar will be stocked with pure strains with the first stocking already done last fall........looking for somebody in the know that can verify this. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Yes Calhoun was stocked with spots last year. The DNR won't dual stock anything. |
