| Just got back from fishing French Lake near Faribault, MN. Didn't put any fish in the boat and didn't have any follows either. Saw two things though that really made me mad. First was a boat about 50-75 yards from me put a musky I would guess in the mid 30s in the boat. Guy in front has the fish, guy in back has the net. Fish is in the net and immediately in the boat. Fish in the boat for about 1 minute, then it looks like the guy in front dips the fish back in the water a few times and brings it back out for a picture. First picture is taken, then after which the guy drops the fish in the bottom of the boat while moving more up to the front of the boat for another picture. Guys picks up the fish and then poses for another picture. I would guess total out of water time had to be 2-3 minutes with poor handling of the fish.[:(]
Second thing that made me mad was I was working a shoreline with a drift and casting a bucktail when another boats pulls in about 20-30 yards in front of me and starts fishing in the direction I'm heading. It's not like it was the only place available to fish in the lake. Anyways, I rev up the trolling motor pass him up and continued fishing my drift.[:(]
Two more weeks and I'm heading up to Tonka. It's on a Monday so hopefully boat traffic will be minimal.
