| Does anyone cast st clair in the summer or are the fish to hard to locate? I went out last weekend for first time and it is hard lake to disect. Beautiful body of water though. any tips would be great. |

| Alot of guys do, especiallly in the northern portions. There is cooler water dumping in from the St. Clair River and the channels splitting off of it. They could show up anywhere though. You could cast until the sun gets high then try jigging in the deep channels. On the southern side, trolling is king... |

| any preference canada or US waters. I was fishing anchor bay and tried down by mile roads but with east wind it was tough down there |

| East wind makes it tough. Anchor Bay is great, but it can be tough on a very sunny day. The clouds can make all the difference in the world. Keep at it, that is musky heaven! |

15 on friday, 6 on sat. no big girls yet, a few caught 32-34 lb caught for the tourney on saturday. troll canada side.
or jig the river like Body suggests, casting better in fall.

There's still more than enough catchable fish, and big fish, casting at any time of year. It's obviously harder than trolling but there are many (myself included) who don't really care to troll. Nothing against it, just not for everyone. |
