Location: Indiana | I downloaded and installed the recent 4.0 on my HDS7's and now I've lost my water temp sensors. I have a terrova and a shoot through(stock Lowrance?) I've tried the generic settings with no luck. It was working before at both locations. Thanks |

Location: Indiana | On the screen just not displaying a temp, front unit isn't reading from terrova as well. |

Location: Grand Forks ND | I will have to look at my unit to be sure, but you need to modify some settings in the Network page. Hit menu twice and go to network, then go to something about a device list. Open up the sonar list and go to water temp. You then hit menu again and modify the global vs. local settings. Mess around in this page for a while and you should be able to figure it out. If you're still having trouble I can look at the exact process on mine and repost. |

Location: Iowa | I would try what muskymanic09 said. I think he is on the right track.
There is a early 4.0.36.53 (I think is the number) version and a later 4.0.36.59 version. I don't know what exactly is the difference but I do know they updated the update. So I read on another site.
If the network setting adjustment doesn't fix your problem then maybe try re-updating your units again. If you all ready had the newer version of 4.0, try it again and if you had the older version, download of the newer version and try that.

Location: Iowa | And a side note, maybe you know this already, there is a setting in there that tells the unit exactly what transducer you are using. There is a tag on the plug-in, read that model number and in that particular setting that model number should be selected.
