Posts: 93 Location: WI | Will be going to Plymouth, MN next week to visit my wifes uncle. Was wondering if there's any muskie shops I could sneek away to that are near there? Addresses and names would be great to put in GPS! Thanks!!

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Too bad you can not visit Musky Tackle Online. He carries about 2x more than any musky shop that I know of and his prices are about 10%+ less. Aaron, you need to get a bigger window in your house so guys can at least drive by and window shop Dick's has a large musky isle now too in their stores. Right on 494! Can't miss it.

Posts: 719 | Thorne Bros in Blaine is a must stop...its like going into a muskie shrine...the others simply sell a few baits. Of course they don't sell everyones stuff...clearly noted above.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Another good way to find shops is to go to Google Maps and type in where you are going. Expand the map out and then type in keywords like "fishing tackle" or musky and businesses with those tag words will pop up. Like in the below. Love doing this for vacations to find "steak" near my hotel. James Attachments ---------------- Tackle Shops.jpg (194KB - 175 downloads)

Posts: 1224 Location: Okoboji | I like blue ribbon and thornes....I have never been to capras and the rest south of thornes on 65. I heard they have some stuff but the two mentioned ate dedicated musky buisnesses

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Tim Schmitz-Not sure where this is coming from? Never downed Thorne Bros in this thread and I have sent people to their store in the past. There are a lot of options in the Minnesota area. Overall I support the retail stores that carry my lures. Thorne Bros does not so generally I will not send my customers to them but rather send my customers to, or suggest retail stores that carry my product lines. Simple as that. As for them not selling my "China" products, I am in Thorne Bros a lot and I see OVER half of the labels on the tackle they sell are from China or non-USA manufacturing so maybe you need to send your discontent of China baits to Thorne Bros. And just a last FYI-I have lures made in the USA and overseas. Most of the raw materials I use in my tackle is sourced from USA companies (BASF, Poly One, etc.). About 25% of my tackle is exported to Canada and Europe so at the end of the day my company is positive for the USA economy as far as money coming into the USA vs going out.
