Location: Montreal, Que. Canada | I was hoping 100 lb. power pro was enough on my Calcutta TE matched with a LT "Big dawg" for a rod. Would 150 lb. or more be better or does this really only make a difference if it's to be thrown on a regular basis?
Thanks,
David |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | I use 100lb. Never had a problem, but I've never had a backlash with a Pounder. I'd imagine that any line would snap with a hard enough backlash though. |

Location: Montreal, Que. Canada | Thanks guys I guess 175 lb. braid and heavier is only for those Musky fisherman who take Ripping Pounders as an EXTREME sport like Shane Masion;- )!! |
