6, the same number of follows I have had in the past two days.

Now I know what Duck feels like when he feels my age. Is anyone going to sum up the age demographic data?

This aging thing is funny. The years fly by and one day it hits you, your no longer one of the hip, cool, people who are setting the current trends,or trying to follow them. Your clothes aren't cool, your music is now on the "Classics" radio station, your favorite actors are dying, you sound like your parents..."turn that garbage down." Man what a culture shock!...Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?

But the biggest shock I had was one day when I was paging through a Playboy magazine. I flipped to the centerfold, took a quick look at the model and then looked at the page that lists her statistics, age, hobbies, etc. I about fell over when I relized that I was old enough to be her father! It seems like yesterday when I looked at my first one and the model was so much older than I that there was no way a woman like that would ever date a boy my age. Now she could call me dad! Where does the time go?

For all you guys who have responded to this thread that are in the #1,#2,or#3 age groups, believe me before you know it the day will come when you pickup a Playboy and relize that your old enough to be her dad,and it's coming faster than you think[:((]

Gooder one FP...you are right about the father thing! Many of me friends my age are grandpaps + meemaws, while I am trying to keep up w/ a 6 yr. old miniature sponge...why did I wait so long?[;)] Grateful to have an EXCELLENT babette 13.5 yrs younger than I to care for me as I gracefully fall apart at the joints...life is good at any age, + it flat dead flies by the older one gets![:sun:]

Kid:

It definitely appears that you and I are the winners in the age catagory. I believe senior citizen is the "politically correct" way to say it - BS - just plain OLD ha ha! When I think back of all the hours I've been able to spend in a boat on the waters of the world chasing after nearly every thing that swims and those quiet, peaceful, soul searching times in the deer stand, I wouldn't change it if I could. Old age is a luxury that is denied to so many. I remember asking my dad many years ago if it bothered him to be getting old - his answer was, "Compared to the alternative, he!! no!" I thought I understood his comment then, I definitely understand it now.

Hope you boat a big one this fall. Those "Tigers" are still one of the prettiest fish than inhabit fresh water.

Mike
