This last Friday, Friday the 13th....My best friend and my main fishing partner Gavin Dominy's house burned to the ground. He was away on a trout fishing trip along with his brother. His parents were asleep in the house, along with their dogs. Luckily, his parents were called and woke up with enough time to get out of the house with the dogs and nothing more... He is a member of this website (muskyslayer12) and like most of us here, he is an avid musky guy. They lost everything. He just got a mount back of his 135'' whitetail he shot last fall, and its things like that unfortunately he will never get back... I'm lending him a rod/reel setup and a few baits but I dont have as large of a collection as many of you guys here. If anyone at all can sacrifice a few unused baits, it would be greatly appreciated by him. If I can get a few together, I plan to surprise him with them. So if anyone can help out please pm me...

Jake,
Send me an email of what baits you guys use primarily and where to send them, and I will get a package together. [email protected]

Yeah, if you wouldn't mind sharing a fishing style, or bait preference or something... I still have to sort through my stuff and see where I'm at for this year, but I'd bet there might be a lure or two that wouldn't mind actually getting used, rather than hiding in a dark corner of the basement.

I have a great selection I can send. Let me know what to do. Does he need a rod and reel too?

Thanks everyone who is lending a hand, thank you Mr. Worrall and the crew here, if it weren't for this wonderful website this couldn't be possible. A very tragic loss but on the bright side, his parents and pets made it to safety, could have been much worse. I would be more than willing to paint up a few for him. Give me an idea of colors he likes and it will be done.

Cant thank everyone enough who has sent Jake baits in the mail over the past month. It was a huge surprise to get them and just what i needed to get my hopes up about something in a down time. I've tested them all out and can't wait to use them in the upcoming New York musky season. Thanks guys..

Just saw this and would be happy to help, too. A list of fav lures would be helpful.
