Location: Ontario | I picked up my new rig last week. 36 Volt TM and a cranking battery with a 4 bank charger on board. When I picked it up, they did not have the cranking battery hooked up to the on board charger. I told them I wanted it hooked up and they said that they dont recommend hooking the cranking battery up to the on board charger.
I have never heard this before...anyone have any input on this?
Thanks guys! |

ditto!
I trust they gave you the owner's manual for the OBC, just follow the installation instructions.
Have fun!

| correct, they have no idea what they are telling you.. Hook it up to your cranking battery. That's what its there for. I have had mine like this for years. Never an issue on any of my boat batteries. |
