Every angler has their own preference of lure choices depending on the conditions, but what if the fish are hitting short or are just plain lazy? What are some of your favorite throwbacks if you find one that's interested but just won't strike. Only reason I ask is because i'm at a bit of a crossroads with mine.

Cheers!

mine has been a firetiger phantom for quite some time now, to just walk it nice and slow. but lately my follows havent shown any additional interest in it. was contemplating going to something even slower, such as a lightweight Red October tube and i guess i'll never know if it works until i try it.

Half stick of dynamite with a short fuse.

Usually do the best with the same lure I got the fish to move on the first time.

ever since the hype.....and with continued results wherever I am......its been the weagle for me. I am still amazed by the follows converted to fish in the net with weagles.

tubes are a very distant #2.

Seriously, a slow-sinking jig/creature in all black on the first cast and a counted-down glide bait on the second cast.
