Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | Next Chautauqua Cash Tourney will be June 25th,2011.The Tourney will be $40 per Fishermen.(Full Field 100 Fishermen,Notice: Tourney Field will be allowed to go behond 100,but prize structure will stay as set at 100),1st Place $1000,2nd Place $600,3rd Place $500,4th Place $400,with the remaining $1500(and Entry Fees Behond 100) going to the Bait Fish Fund!(NOTICE)***Those signed up by April 1st go into a drawing for Four(4) Beckman Magnum Finsaver Nets,one each to four lucky early entrants!*** This will be based on the 4 Longest Muskies caught & released,each fishermen can only enter 1 fish,their Longest!Photo must be taken with pin on Tourney Button visable in picture for Entry to count toward prizes.Tourney Button will be mailed to you 5 days before the Tourney along with Release Form or can be picked up from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on June 25th at Mayville Launch.Witness of your release form can be by anyone else in the Tourney.Picture of musky with Tourney Button for prizes can be show from your cell phone or camera to me when you turn in your Release Form.Release Forms must be turned in by 6:00 pm to count for the Prizes,bring them to Mayville Town Park.Tourney fishing hours at Midnight Friday June 24th to 5:00 pm June 25th! Food will be cooked on the spot!Hot Dogs,Hamburgers & Homade French Fries starting at 5:30 pm.We will have a 50/50 Raffle & Lure Raffle Table.We will use Mayville Town Park for the Awards Presentation,we will use the green shelter and bring a grill.You may launch from anywhere on the lake,other launches are Long Point State Park,Prendergast,Bemus Point & Celeron!

The need for the early signup is to cover the cost of the Tourney Liability Insurance that must be purchased before the Town of Mayville will issue the Park Permit.

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | April 2nd Early Sign Up Beckman Net Winners: Joe Hetzendorfer,Paul Frustero,Mel Lindquist & Chuck Battaglia Nets will be given to each at the Tourney.
We now have 68 fishermen signed up for the Tourney,we should go well over 100 to maybe as high as 130.Half of those who entreed previous Chautauqua Tourneys did so in the last 10 days.
*NOTICE*: I will be doing Fishing Charters from June 18th thru June 24th and will not be available to collect Enrty Fees durring that time period.So mail in and PayPal Entry Fees must reach me by June 11th,after June 11th you can signup at the Happy Hooker Bait & Tackle store in Lakewood,NY on NY Route 394.Also I will be available to collect Entry Fees on the Tourney date,June 25th from 6:00 am to 9:00 am at the Mayville Town Park Launch.

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | We now have 90 Tourney Entrants,need 10 more for a full field.But remember any Tourney Entrants from 101 on sends all the funds directly to the Bait Fish Fund.So please try to talk a friend into joining us in the Tourney.Today we picked up McDonalds Restaurants of Southern Tier Western NY as a Tourney Sponser.We will be able to addvertise our Tourneys at the participating McDonald's locations,plus they gave us Free Big Mac Coupons for each Tourney Fishermen.

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | As of June 6th we now have 100 Fishermen signed up for the Chautauqua Musky Cash Tournament. This means the the payout will be $2500! Anyone that gets in the Tourney now sends all funds directly to the Bait Fish Fund. Lets see if we can get another 40 or 50 signed up,ask a friend,mention the Tourney to other fishermen you meet at boat ramps & tackle stores,lets try to have the biggest muskie tourney ever on Chautauqua Lake!
Notice: Menu Change; We will now have Pete's Famous Chicken Barbque, 1/4 chicken, potato salad & baked beans for each Tourney Fisherman! We will have a Donation Can out to hopefuly get back the costs of the food and not take from funds needed by the Bait Fish Fund. |

| Catch the winning fish on a Baker Bait and I will give you a dozen baits for doing so. You must have a pic of lure in the mouth of the fish though. I am also donating some baits to the lure raffle so make sure you come on out to fish this! Always a good time! |

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | Thanks Zach! We now have 108 fishermen in the Tournament. If you plan to fish in the Tournament and have not paid your Entry Fee yet,to do so by mail it must reach me by next Monday June 13th,if you use PayPal it must be sent by Monday June 13th as well.I leave for Camp and will be running fishing charters from the 18th of June thru June 24th and will not be able to collect any Entry Fees or hand out any Tourney Packets that week.Two options for those who waited to the very last minute to come up with the cash to get in: Happy Hooker Tackle in Lakewood,NY on NY Route 394 will take your money and give you the Tourney Button and Release Form the last week before the Tourney. Then I will be at the Mayville Town Park Launch on June 25th from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and you can signup then.Please do not call me the Friday night before asking to get in,I will not stay up or travel anywhere to supply buttons so someone can fish at midnight that night,use one of the options above,in past years I have had as many as a dozen people wanting me to drive 15 minutes over to a launch at 11:00 pm at night,this year my cell phone will be turned off at 6:00 pm.

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | As of this Saturday morning,June 11th, we now have 112 Fishermen in the Tourney.It is now to late to mail in your Entry Fee! You can still use PayPal until Tuesday at 10:00 pm. After that it is signup at Happy Hooker Tackle in Lakewood,NY from June 16th to June 24th and at Mayville Town Park Boat Launch from 6:00 am to 9:00 am June 25th.I will be running Charters each day from June 18th to June 24th and can not meet anyone for sign up,if you catch me at the launch any of those days I can sign you up,but I can't drive anywhere but back to camp to sleep and get up for the next days charter.
