Posts: 286 Location: VA | Made a few spinnerbaits. Front arm is .062 and skirts are strung on .051 wire. The black a chartreuse is the first one I made and has already boated one. Heads have two coats of epoxy. 3D eyes. I have more on the wheel and will post pics later. To all of the people I've pestered with a PM thanks for the help and insight. Posts: 2269 Location: SE, WI. | Robert; They look really good since the first pic you sent. Love the eyes. Do you pinch the egg in a vice? Very nice, and good use of a mold not intended for this. Awesome idea. Here is some ideas I used from other molds. The Mrs liked! JD Edited by jdsplasher 6/17/2012 8:35 PM Attachments ---------------- IMG_0484.jpg (94KB - 201 downloads)

Posts: 286 Location: VA | I milled out 1/2" in the bottom of the mold for the eyes about 1/16" deep . After the epoxy it looks round. Perfect eye placement every time. The egg sinker mold has a slot for the pull pin so wire form on one side and skirt wire on the other close it up then pour the lead in to hold it together. I have wire forms on order so won't have to bend many more. Don't really plan to bump grind these. More for current breakers getting under the white water next to falls on the river and Dam discharges where double 10's rise to top and can't get in the strike zone. Thanks Guys
