Anyone try the 10" hellhound yet? If so, how are they? The profile is HUGE and they seem heavy.

They have a huge glide with the same sexy wobble as the 8" and they are suprisingly erratic. Not as much as the little one but pretty close.

What do you mean by Surprisingly erratic does it not glide left then right in response to each down stroke of the rod?

erratic is good! Thanks.

Do they sink faster than the smaller one(s)?

i don't think hellhounds are erratic at all. love them have 13 of them but they are a walk the dog glidebait witch is a fixed course. i don't have any 10" but from the video of them they work the same as the 8".
baits like a jerko are erratic lacking a fixed course. up down side down side up side side down that is erratic.

Where is a video? The hellhound can be erratic but you have to work it that way.

Like muskerboy said the hellhound can be very erratic when worked that way.

I never knew that this lure could "walk the dog".....I always like the CRAZY way that this lure can be worked.

The fish nail it when fished Crazy.

The bait itself is not erratic you are the one who is giving it the erratic action unlike the Jerko where the direction it glides is not in you control there for making it erratic.

My Hellhounds always run erratic, whether I want them to or not.

Yes, Glide baits do take some practice. Keep at it you'll get it, control of the bait just takes time;- ). It's funny how the meaning of a word like erratic in terms of action is not separated from the one giving the bait it's action.
