| I have been using the Knipex # 71 01 200 for about the last 20 years.
This is basically an 8" boltcutter and worked great for me, i am still using the first and only one i ever bought. |

Location: Madison WI | I own 2 pairs of the Spring loaded Knipex, I believe they cost $65 in Rollie in Helens, best hook cutters I have ever used, I will never buy anything else. |

Location: Oshkosh | Check on Ebay. They are often on there for decent prices, although I haven't seen any of the spring loaded ones for any kind of deal yet.

Location: Columbus, Georgia | I have two pair: one is spring-loaded and the other not.
I always keep the spring-loaded pair up front and keep the other on the boat as a backup. |
