Keep in mind that many fish head shallower as it gets dark. We troll some islands on a lake here for rockfish + an occasional musky shows up...many fish are caught SLOW + on topwater/shallow baits. LISTEN for feeding fish also; one can stop + cast or troll in + around the area for good results...if that doesn't work, which it should, try trolling breaklines on large flats.[::)] |
