Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | Ski resorts out here are talking about skiing through Memorial Day. Several resorts are well over 600 inches this season. Major flood concerns for the Salt Lake Valley, especially if the warm up comes in a hurry accompanied with some rain. Edited by Pointerpride102 4/15/2011 10:50 PM

Posts: 1030 Location: APPLETON, WI | Sadly enough... I did the bulk of mine a few weeks ago, too. I got one more Plano case to do, but otherwise, I'm finished. We had huge flakes coming down earlier this morning in Oshkosh. Thankfully, it has subsided.

Pointer, in 1973 I was on a temporary duty trip for the Army, working with chemical weapons at Toole Army Depot in Utah. That year our officers went skiing on Memorial Day weekend, thanks to a thirty inch snow fall late in the prior week. Down at 5,000 feet we had a nice weekend, while they skiied in t-shirts and jeans.

Posts: 1247 Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | This past weekend as far south as Saltfork Lake,Ohio snow flakes fell for a short time.Friday night 2.5 inches of rain, water up in the parking lots, tough finding launch ramps.Saturday night 55 mph winds, blocked tent with two trucks and still almost went airborne toward WV.Driving into Buffalo,NY late Sunday afternoon it was a white out with silver dollar snow flakes,3" in the boat.Still down below freezing last few nights.Next muskie trip may have to be down to Tennesee looking for normal spring weather and hopefuly coperative fish!
