| this is my first fall of musky fishing. how are the fish moving this time of year? Ive been fishing a very shallow river system. Ive had luck in a shallow (4-12ft.) bay all summer long. do they move deeper? what type of presentations trigger the most fish? trolling? |

| In a river, they should be in about the same areas. When the water gets really cold, look for them in the deeper slack water pools.

| Same as ToddM, except also look at the current breaks caused by tips of stump fields or other objects that are at the very edge of the river channel. I find Perch there, and other panfish, which seem to draw Muskies.[:)] |
