Operation Muskie Auction Announced

March 15, 2011

www.OperationMuskie.com

Oak Island, MN – Operation Muskie puts saying “thanks” into action by providing recent combat veterans with an all-expenses-paid fishing trip of a lifetime. This coming summer, the 4th annual trip will pair 20 veterans with 10 of the world’s best fishing guides for world-class muskie fishing on Lake of the Woods.

The costs of putting on an event of this magnitude continue to rise, and Operation Muskie can only achieve its mission with your help. Through generous donations from both individuals and businesses, Operation Muskie is able to hold a fund-raising auction to help cover costs for this event.

A “silent” auction will run from March 12th – April 10th. Things will be capped off by a “live” online auction on Tuesday, April 12th.

The auctions will include a wide variety of great items, including:

- Guide trips from premier guides almost everywhere that muskies swim…

- Resort stays at Mylie’s Place and Pipestone Point

-Custom lures, nets, muskie artwork, and much more!

Please thank and support all of the sponsors who make this auction possible.

Visit www.OperationMuskie.com for more information, and to take part in the auction sending 20 more deserving veterans to Lake of the Woods.

Please be patient, I have to activate some of the new accounts as a way to keep the spambots off the site. You should be good to go now. thanks!

hmm, there was some weird deal with the registration email. i turned that requirement off, so it shouldn't be an issue anymore.

thanks for the head's-up about it!

Ken...your account is activated. I turned off email activation, so you can just log in and bid without using the email link. I'll pm you your password just to be sure you're using the right one.

And...hey, TONS of great stuff in the auction right now with lots of new stuff added. Check it out between now and Apr 10th!

Mike,
It works now and I thank you. I am not so sure that my wife is all that happy now that I can bid though!

We're on the home stretch! It's hard to believe how many awesome items have been donated by our sponsors. Please support these folks who support veterans!

-- Less than one week to go in the "silent" auction. It ends on Sunday, Apr 10th at 6pm. Tons of great deals still to be found, as well as many newly listed items.

-- The "live" online auction will take place Tuesday, Apr 12th at 7pm. The final 20 lots are set and listed for the live auction. You can view them all in order on the auction website. This online auction will take place in the MuskieFirst chatroom.

http://www.operationmuskie.com/OM%20Forums/

The trip that this all goes to support will take place during the last week of June. We'll have many updates about the event and the 20 veterans both on the Operation Muskie website as well as on our Facebook page.

Great work again by Mike. And many-many thanks to all the successful bidders!!!!!

There'll be some very deserving Vets, hopefully catching a muskie or two this June because of this. Many thanks to the great folks who support this.

Can't thank everyone enough!
