Location: Kentucky | Went 2 Green 4 afew days this past weekend. Tough fishing conditions 4 most of us. I think only 4or5 legal fish were caught. I caught a lil'30incher when i got down there on Thursday. Tore the big bass up all 3 days. Caught one that was 8.2lbs on a 12inch jerkbait. I think their eatin all the Musky.... lol The guy that won it popped a 46. I ended up sitting on 2 fish for 3days. One of which was close 2 50in. This stupid thing hit my lure one time and knocked it 10 feet in the air. The whole front half of the fish came outta the water. No steel n her though. Seen her acouple more times, then the next morning she drilled the back half of the bait with her mouth shut. No steel again. Seen her afew more times then I guess she relocated never 2 b seen again. I hate these fish!!! I didnt sleep for 3 days or shower so I ended up Hallucinating on the drive back home. U know, stopping at green lights and going at red ones. lol Ur typical Musky Outing... lol I got one more this weekend if I live thru it.. |

Location: Syracuse, Indiana | GREAT time (even though I only had 1 strike - which I missed). Tremendous food, good speakers, and next year the event will be held in conjunction with the Muskies Inc. spring board meeting.
We discovered we were fishing the right areas, with the right baits, but at the wrong times. Much to learn. |

Location: Kentucky | LOL Bring ur tent FSF!!! I did the ol' run and gun the first day, but it was just like i thought. The small musky were up on the flats and the big girls were on the deeper stuff. So i sat on acouple nice fish. It was a good time though. I needed a brake from the Cave. Got some sun and met alot of fellow MuskyNuts as well as aton of pontoon crappie fisherman.. lol To the Cave I go!!! Shes blown out! Went up another 1.3 today. Back up 2 10feet over summer pool. Should b interesting. I think the hot pattern is gonna b fishin the #*#*ters at all the flooded boat ramps... LOL |
