Please read and pass on.

It's hard for me to be the person that has to break the sad news to the Muskie Fishermen and women.

Kathy Kaiser-Bales, the beautiful wife of the late Captain Harry Bales, passed away Monday, November 23rd after a courageous battle with cancer. She is now with her loving husband Harry (inventor of the Tackle Tamer Lure Keeper) and dear mother Claire.  Unfortunately, she leaves behind 3 other family members who are very dear to me and will miss her greatly!  Kathy leaves her father and my best friend Danny Kaiser Sr, her sister and dear friend of mine, Karen Kaiser-Cernoia.  And her brother and great friend of mine Dan Jr, (Toby). She also leaves numerous other relatives and friends.  Kathy was always a joy to be around and brought a smile to everyones face that she met.  She was also a great muskie fisherman who I never got the priveledge to fish with, but always wanted to.  The Kaiser family lived next door to me while I was growing up and thier friendship continues today.

Please remember Kathy, Harry, Claire and the rest of thier family in your prayers.  Also, please stop by the www.hodappfuneralhome.com web site and sign her guestbook.  That would mean so much to her family.

Most importantly, tell someone who you love that you do love them, if you don't, tomorrow may be too late.       In loving memory of Kathy.    Pat Kemper

Capt. Harry was a great friend and fisherman, and he was blessed to have Kathy as his wife. It was sad we lost Harry a few years ago just when I was getting to know him and Kathy. My prayers go out to Kathy's entire family and now Harry and Kathy are together in a better place.

Very sad indeed! A year & a half ago Kathy went out her way to get me one of Harry's Tackle Tammer boxes. This was after Harry had already passed. She had emailed me a couple times asking for some pics with the box full of baits. I told her I would gladly, but never got around to doing it. I feel bad.... Another example of how short life is. My prayers go out to Kathy & her family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I will always remember our family adventures and trips together. Most of all I will always remember that southern accent she acquired.

Very sad news indeed. I think I'll hang a few baits tonight in the box she sent me last year. She was a very kind lady. God Bless.

I have been searching for years for Kathy Kaiser and regret that I never reconnected. Thank you for taking the time to post. We were best friends a LONG time ago in Florida. She got married for a time, divorced and I saw her briefly in Florida after that. I never knew what became of her but am thrilled that she married a good guy and a fisherman. They must've been two peas in a pod. She was such a good person as is all of her family (her mom & dad & Toby). I'm sorry she's gone so soon but VERY glad she had a good life. Just wish I could give her one more hug. Her dad got her into collecting Aladdin lamps which got me interested as well. He & Claire came to visit and were as much fun as Kathy to be with. I'm blessed to have met them. Again, thanks for your posts. I've enjoyed reading them all.
