| Fishing the reeds for hawgs. Have not found a reed bite yet this year....hopefully the cooler weather will move them up for a couple of days and get them biting. Otherwise, I will be on the rocks...

| I'm heading out to Pigeon Lake for my second side trip of the season. First off all I will be fishing the Can-Am where we canadians keep kicking yankee butt ( probably the only other thing then hockey and curling that we do ) the 14th and 15th. As well the 14th will be my semi final WWMF fishing match where we plan on boating some 5+ fish. [:p] Then on the 16th there is the Green acres 1 day tourney on the same lake.
I can tell you we plan on going 2 for 3 and never know we may just do a complete sweep. [:p]
Gota be a busy muskie guide to have to fit 3 tourneys in one weekend. LOL hey last time I did this I won both in early June with a 50 incher to boot.
P.S. Mike you better hope Cass is hot on the 28th. Pigeon doesn't have the big fish we have here but it sure puts out the numbers. [:p] |

I knew you'd get in at least one more shot![:praise:] If that boat is not slimed already, I wouldn't be too sure-fired about it. You see, that skunk is a funny animal. I never, ever, figured it would take almost 3 months to finally get one in it. The first day out fishing in it, Landy and I both missed fish, and saw several others. I think that's all it took. Once that sucker started to stink, it was extremely difficult to get rid of it. It was really strange. I saw tons of fish, and lost a couple. But mostly it was all the fish I saw just had lock-jaw.
Good luck to you and your pop. I really hope you slime it the first day. I wouldn't wish that skunk I had, on anyone.

Saturday (early am) Cody has a "away" football game, then the wife will be gone till late. Might try to get out for awhile with Cody after dinner.
Sunday, family stuff all day.
