didn't see an email, so attached pics of the MagX below. I sent it in to Abu for an overhaul and had them remove the magnetic BS from the left sideplate (it sucked.) Now it's just like a C3 but with the thumb bar.

Still have the Tica caimans? If they are the level-wind, black ones in a condition you would buy...then I will. Here in Ca. wil use for stripers. Please respond to [email protected]. You can check my buying record on e-bay (cbarawed) to see I'm not a flake. Thanks

Just sent an e-mail via aol. I'm wavering on buying both instead of just one. In your opinion how do they compare to the reels that I have: Trion66, Abu 6500c3,Shimano Cardiff 400, Daiwa Millionaire cvx?

Actually caimans have outlasted indurons, 6600 abus and the cheaper shimanos for us. If you hear any 'buzzing' just open up the reel and tighten the inside screws on the handle sideplate. I actually put a drop of superglue on mine and have had 2 other caimans last for several seasons. Also, because it is easier to get quick access to the moving parts, I end up opening and washing the reel more frequently than others...maybe that's why I've had such good luck with them.
