Tough night in Wisconsin. Everything went south of us here, dodged a major bullet so far.

Sounded like we had one go through our front yard here in Kaukauna, no damage that I can see.

That storm had some serious winds and hail and tracked SW to NE just south of us towards Crandon, so it for sure hit Pelican, but there didn't seem to be anything said about a tornado touch down.

I think we lucked out by the skin of our teeth here in Green Bay as well, knock on wood. My family is on the road coming from Milwaukee right now, so I had them stop in Sheboygan and hole-up for 30-45 minutes. This system is moving at 50-60mph, and the last thing I want is for them to drive right into it.

Say hello to "Severe Weather Awareness Week." She's come in like a lion thus far...

Sheesh.

Oh man! They are playing footage of that now on the Green Bay channels. It's unbelievably fortunate that no one was injured. I am constantly amazed by Mother Nature's fury.

Thanks for posting these pictures Eric, and I am glad you were safe. Is this the neighborhood where I visited your house to pick up that book a few years ago?

yes tom, too the east 1.5 blocks and just south of me.I spent the morning helping the church clean up there grounds. We cut wood to get streets open. The gas and power will be off for a few days it looks like and all new fiber optic cables are getting put in. 157 homes were damaged, including five destroyed and 19 with serious damage.Kaukauna has a state of emergency declared for it.
